What Matterport is and how it works
Matterport is a 3D scanning platform that turns a real space into an interactive digital copy that visitors walk through online. We capture the space with the Matterport Pro3 LiDAR camera, which measures geometry with millions of points at ±20mm accuracy. From a single scan you get a photorealistic virtual tour, but also measurable data exported to e57, point cloud, and MatterPak. The tour is published online and accessed through a link that you control.
